Issue #: 106 Platform: All Reporter: ferstl (ferstl) Component: gridengine OS: All Subcomponent: man Version: 6.0 CC: None defined Status: NEW Priority: P3 Resolution: Issue type: ENHANCEMENT Target milestone: --- Assigned to: andreas (andreas) QA Contact: andreas URL: * Summary: Define Grid Engine host/queue/... name space in docs Status whiteboard: Attachments: Issue 106 blocks: Votes for issue 106: Opened: Thu Nov 29 03:19:00 -0700 2001 ------------------------ Grid Engine has a name space for host, queues, user names, etc. in that some names are interpreted as special values and thus are not permitted for the "real world" hosts, queues, ... Examples are: global (for hosts and complexes) host, queue (for complexes) template (for queues) all (e.g. for queues) default unknown (not sure) none This list is almost certainly incomplete. The name space should be defined clearly in a prominent place in the documentation. ------- Additional comments from chaubal Thu Nov 29 16:53:11 -0700 2001 ------- *** Issue 97 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** ------- Additional comments from chaubal Thu Nov 29 16:54:56 -0700 2001 ------- *** Issue 109 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** ------- Additional comments from andreas Thu Oct 21 07:18:08 -0700 2004 ------- That's a man page issue at first. ------- Additional comments from andreas Thu Oct 21 08:01:40 -0700 2004 ------- Assign Admin/User/Install guide related issues to Andreas Haas.
